Howdy! My name is Liesl Quick. I am a Senior finance major from Wolfforth, TX, and I am serving as the 2006-2007 Student Advocate for Financial Affairs.

Part of my job is to work closely with the Student Government Association (SGA) committee and commission chairs and finance chairs in order to decide on a budget that shows the best way to allocate the funds that SGA receives from student fees. The Student Senate must vote on and confirm this budget. The budget was presented to the Senate on September 20th, and they will vote on it on October 4th.

It is also part of my job to assist the SGA committees and commissions in finding fundraising opportunities and to aid them in recording their financial transactions. I am here to help with anything needed related to budgets, monthly statements, and financial records for the organizations.
